The third year of the competition was a tremendous success. The jurors were impressed with the level of excellence displayed as well as the breadth of sports covered in the submissions (over 50 sports). The competition has attracted hundreds of artists from around the globe.  We are thrilled with the continued momentum this competition has and appreciate all the artists for the submission and enthusiasm for this competition.

The international fine arts competition has become a staple program for NAMOS in fulfilling its two-pronged mission to both encourage artists in their efforts to create art depicting sport, and also to collect, preserve and share the best examples of sport art the museum can acquire.

Thank you to all of our sponsors, and particularly the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA)  for their continued generous support of this competition.
